Bin storage for Berlin & Brandenburg
Bin boxes, bin houses & enclosures
Hide individual bins neatly or organise a complete storage area. Choose compact boxes, walk-in roofed houses or twin-wire mesh enclosures with a gate to suit your property.

Box, house or fenced storage area?
Three solutions. A tidier outdoor space.
The terms sound similar but describe different structures. Container sizes, available space and whether you need a walk-in room, individual boxes or a fenced area determine the choice.

01 · Compact
Bin storage boxes
Each bin gets its own space. For front gardens and driveways where containers need neat, space-saving storage.

02 · Walk-in
Bin storage houses
A larger roofed space with an entrance, for several containers and sites needing more room.

03 · Enclosed
Bin area enclosures

Which structure suits you?
Bin boxes: compact storage for individual containers
A bin box directly surrounds the containers. Unlike a bin house, it is not a walk-in room. Individual units or connected boxes suit private entrances, front gardens and narrow spaces.
The STAHLZAUN.DE collection includes Deluxe and Cover ranges for 120- and 240-litre bins. Capacity, operation and dimensions vary by version. We check which box suits your containers and available space.
Bin houses: more room under one roof
A bin house is a larger walk-in structure. A door or gate gives access to a shared interior containing the bins. Particularly useful for apartment buildings, residential developments and commercial sites.
The GMS range offers different footprints and designs: MIKRO 2 × 2 m, DUAL 2 × 3 m, OPTIMAL 4 × 3 m and MAXI 4 × 5 m. Double-leaf or sliding doors depend on model. Size depends on door openings and manoeuvring room as well as bin numbers.
Slatted infill and colours can match the fence, gates and building. Dimensions, equipment and special solutions are agreed for the selected system.
Twin-wire mesh bin enclosures
Panels, posts and a matching entrance surround the bin area. The photo shows a GUARD twin-wire mesh enclosure with a pedestrian gate. It is neither a compact box nor a closed bin house.
The open mesh looks light and allows air to circulate. It defines the area but provides no privacy by itself. For more screening, we assess suitable strips or other infill. Gate width and layout suit the containers and collection route.
The installation shown has no roof. A roof is a separately designed option and must suit the project structurally.
Bin storage that works every day
We need bin numbers and sizes, the available area and ideally a site photo. We consider access, door opening and manoeuvring room. The route to collection should remain free from unnecessary obstacles.
Depending on system, options include galvanised steel, powder coating and slatted or mesh infill. Doors, locks, cylinders, handles and stops suit the use. For roofed versions, drainage, gutters and any anti-condensation coating are agreed separately.
Not every box or house can be altered freely. We distinguish standard model sizes from individually designed enclosures. Extensions require a compatible system and enough space.
Planning and installation in Berlin & Brandenburg
From one bin space to a large enclosure, we assist with selection and technical preparation. Measurements and installation by our Berlin teams are agreed for the project. Germany-wide delivery; installation elsewhere on request.
A suitable load-bearing base and fixings are part of preparation. Larger sites also require checks of local requirements and installation conditions. Send dimensions and photos to discuss structure, equipment and scope.

Your questions about bin storage.
What is the difference between a bin box and a bin house?
A box directly surrounds individual containers and is not walk-in. A house has a larger accessible roofed interior shared by several containers.
What is a twin-wire mesh bin enclosure?
Panels and a gate define the storage area. The GUARD system shown is open and unroofed: it surrounds the space without creating a closed house.
Do the boxes suit 120- and 240-litre bins?
The collection includes both sizes. Compatible containers and capacity depend on the specific model.
Does twin-wire mesh provide privacy?
Open mesh alone does not. We assess suitable privacy strips or other infill for greater screening.
Can I choose dimensions, doors and roof individually?
Custom enclosures offer different layouts and equipment. Standard boxes and GMS models have their own sizes and options. Technical feasibility is checked before quotation.
Can it be extended later?
Only with compatible extension modules and enough space and suitable ground. We check this for your selected system.
Do you measure and install?
Our teams measure and install in Berlin and Brandenburg by project agreement. Germany-wide delivery and installation elsewhere are possible by agreement or on request.
What information do you need for a quote?
Bin numbers and sizes, storage area dimensions, photos of the ground and access routes, and your preference for a box, house or enclosure.
